Gonu storm

Hello everyone ..

Today my country is facing a dangerous storm ..Everyone thought it is a rumor, but it turn out to be true.

This morning I went to LuLu Hyper Market for shopping and what I saw, I have never seen such thing before. For the first time, the store was so damn crowded that no car parking was available.

Gonu storm had hit the Sultanate this morning ..My family and I are sitting together in the living room watching Oman channel and praying for people in Al Sharqiya region. The weather is rainning in Muscat and other regions in Oman.Thank god that Oman called on people living in areas at risk to leave before the cyclone reaches land, Gonu will pass Muscat close by at 1800 GMT today, before veering north into Iran at the Straits of Hormuz, which will be reached early on Saturday. On landfall, the cyclone will be little more than a tropical depression, with barely galeforce winds. Gonu has seen a very rapid decrease in strength, brought about by lower temperature of the sea, shallower depth of the sea, the proximity of land and entrainment of very dry air from the Arabian peninsula.

Insha Allah this storm will end soon without losing lives ...
